Does electric poultry netting keep chickens in?
In most cases, an electric chicken fence is meant to keep chickens contained, but more so, to keep predators out. Chickens may get a mild shock from the fence when they touch it, but often, their dense feathers insulate them from too much of a shock.
Will an electric fence hurt chickens?
No. An electric fence will not kill chickens without there being some other factor involved. If you think about it, if an electric fence killed chickens, it would also be lethal to the dozens of other animals that are roughly the same size and would therefore also be killed.

Can electric netting touch the ground?
